Sara Boccaccini Meadows is a print designer and illustrator living in Brooklyn, NY. Originally from the rolling hills of the Peak District, England she graduated from Leeds College of Art with a 1st class Hons in Textiles and Surface Pattern. Since arriving in the USA almost 12 years ago, she has been splitting her time between working as a textile designer, illustrator and artist. 

Sara has authored/illustrated a number of books for children and adults which have been published around the world. She has had multiple illustrations published in recent years. Select clients include Ten Speed Press, Magic Cat Publishing, Quarto Publishing, i-D Magazine, Flow Magazine, Origin Magazine, Candlestick Press, Iceberg Press. She has also worked for many corporate clients, including Netflix, Hewlett Packard, Skillshare, Kate Spade, Bien Fait, Pilot Pen and Urban Outfitters. 

She takes inspiration from nature and the tiny details in everyday life to create unique and quirky print illustrations. Her materials include watercolor, gouache and ink pen. In her spare time, Sara enjoys cycling, hiking and exploring overgrown gardens. She documents a lot of her life and travels in little pocket sketchbooks that have become a valuable source of inspiration for her work.
